Location is perfect, just steps from Times Square. Elevators are really slow and small, which can be a hassle. Rooms are clean but small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked well throughout the stay.

The room was nice, but issues arose - a missing smoke alarm and a messy outdoor space. The staff had some missteps, but the location was excellent. Good housekeeping despite some hiccups. Elevator waits were a downside.

It was a nice experience. I stayed here 5 nights and I loved it. The place had a family atmosphere. The location was stunning, a couple of blocks away from R Lounge.

Sink your teeth into Carmine's Italian Restaurant's gooey, cheesy goodness just 0.50 km away. The shrimp at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co are on point, a mere stone's throw away at 0.50 km. Plus, Da Marino Restaurant is a solid 0.18 km for a taste of Italy.

Sure, we found an unexpected guest , but it added a touch of NYC grit. No fridge, but hey, let's keep it cool like a New Yorker.

very good location and staff, it was fairly clean here. the room was exceptionally clean with a bathtub and had a balcony and an iron. fast check-in was a bonus. also, i really enjoyed how marvellous the location was.

The spot was super cool, right in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of Times Square, couldn't ask for a better location. The facilities were slick and up to speed, and despite the room being cozy, it was pretty sweet. Big shout out to the family suite, spacious and comfy, even the bathroom was on point. But man, that noise leaking through the door at night was a bit unnerving, hope they fix that soon. 😬

The weather was warm sunny, had really enjoyable stay in the room. We enjoyed the functional-style building and our brand-new room with balcony. Everything was simply amazing.

Despite minor check-in issues, the Gallivant's prime location near Broadway and Rockefeller Center made up for it. The spacious, clean room with bunk beds was perfect for our theater-filled trip. Highly recommend for large groups and Broadway enthusiasts.

It was a really nice stay, affordable place. All of the staff members were pretty friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the deluxe room, within walking distance of 49th Street metro station, just 5 minutes on foot.

I recently stayed at a vibrant boutique hotel in Times Square that served as the perfect home base for exploring the city with my large family. The location was ideal for immersing ourselves in the lively Manhattan atmosphere, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and nightlife options within easy reach. The chic 336-room hotel provided a comfortable and clean environment, ensuring our family had a cozy retreat after busy days of city exploration.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if the hotel offered more family-friendly activities or amenities for our children, such as a dedicated play area or kids' club to keep them entertained during our stay.

Greatly located hotel, 2 minutes walk from Time Square. Friendly, helpful service. On leaving, you get a bottle of water to drink :-) Nice :-) Single room tiny, but overlooking the real NY (ask for a room on higher floors). At night you can hear the city. In the rooms everything you need, including an ironing board, coffee maker.

If somebody is not used to it, you can hear the city at night. As in all of New York, the price of parking is insane...

The air conditioning was either hot or cold, no matter what, you'd turn it on and have to turn it off in 10 minutes because it was at hellish temperatures.

The views out the window at The Gallivant were incredible! I could see the bustling city below and the High Line park, providing a unique and memorable backdrop to my stay. Plus, the charming white columns added a touch of elegance to the decor, making it a visually appealing experience.

Our stay was marred by some inconvenience as our room wasn't available upon arrival and we experienced issues with the shower handle and heating.

Cleanliness. Thorough cleaning and daily change of towels. Large TV and shower. Free safe. Coffee machine and coffee daily new with packages of cream, sugar, sweetener. Quiet air conditioning.

Only two lifts. You often wait, problem is small.

In fact nothing... we can chip away and deplore the view and lack of double glazing... however considering the price and location I prefer to pay 1500 euros for 6 and use this budget for other things like restaurants and shopping... So good when you come back at the end of the day from a visit of NYC you sleep :-)

The Database Room at The Gallivant Times Square was perfect for us bike riders. The location was ideal, just 2 minutes from Time Square, making it easy for us to explore the city. The bed was comfortable and we had a great night's sleep after a long day of biking.

small rooms in the pictures it looks much bigger. unfortunately you can't use the shutters and light of times square always shines into the room. wlan was very slow and you could do almost nothing. staff was not all friendly, they did not help us to find the bus for the shopping outlet.

I stayed in a room with two beds and a work desk, great for planning my day of exploring. The bathroom had safety features, which made me feel secure. The hotel's location was perfect for checking out NYC landmarks. I loved that the lobby served a tasty breakfast. The wallpaper map in the room was a nice touch—I'm a sucker for maps! a solid choice for a stay in the Big Apple.

The location of Gallivant Times Square is perfect, right in the heart of everything. We didn't need a car during our stay as everything was within walking distance, including Times Square. the rooms, while not large, were still good.

room was very small. we had a room on the 3rd floor and looked into a backyard which was surrounded by house walls on 4 sides. room was very bright, you could hear every sound in the corridor.

We hit up Times Square and Central Park, then partied at the rooftop bar nearby. Our hotel was suuuuper close to all the action, making it easy to stumble home after a wild night out. The chic vibes and bustling location gave us major #NYC feels!

We had a wonderful stay in this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the Broadway theatres and just a short walk to Times Square. The hotel also had a great selection of dining options, with a restaurant that served a delicious continental breakfast and a bar/lounge area where we could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. the service, comfort, and quality of this hotel exceeded our expectations.

room 211 was awful.. our first night we had this room.. you looked out the window there was no view of anything. i think it was the heating or the air conditioning.. one machine and it was very loud.. incredibly loud.. i couldn't sleep a second.. the staff was very friendly. after my complaint another room was given immediately. rooms were small abet had everything you need.. cleanliness.. again and again gladly... however higher floor always.

We stayed here and were blown away by this hotel. The location was just off Times Square which was perfect for us, and the room had everything we needed including ironing facilities and a mini-bar. The staff were incredibly polite, from the bell staff to the maids, and kept the room clean throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel was able to arrange car hire for us and offer dry cleaning services.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The rooms are small but modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a large flat-screen TV. The bathroom may be small, but the hot showers are powerful. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the lobby has plenty of seating. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

As a frequent traveler, I often stay at hotels for transit during my travels. The Gallivant Times Square's location, just 15 km away from LaGuardia airport, was incredibly convenient for my short stay in New York. The proximity to the airport made my travel arrangements smooth and hassle-free.

The noise levels in the hallways and the thin walls made it difficult to sleep past 7:30 am. However, fortunately, this minor inconvenience did not detract from the overall convenience of the hotel's location.

One improvement that could be made is the speed of the elevators. They were quite slow, and at times I found myself taking the stairs instead.

the location couldn't have been better - just a 5-minute walk to Times Square and the 50th St subway station. We loved being able to easily explore downtown. being within walking distance of the Top of the Rock Observatory was a major highlight. the hotel itself provided daily room service and kept everything clean. We really appreciated the option for an early check-in for a small fee. a wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at The Gallivant in Times Square for a theater weekend. The location was perfect, with easy access to Times Square, theaters, delis, and restaurants. The housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The Korean breakfast place next door had a great staff as well. Our room had a queen bed and a separate section with two bunk beds, providing plenty of space. The standout feature, however, was the front office staff, including Dogkan, Muhammad, and Rob.

Spent Easter break at this boutique hotel and had a great time! Loved the key location close to the main attractions, restaurants, and all the city excitement. the check, in was quick and staff were very polite and helpful. the room offered exactly what we needed , comfortable bed, fully functional shower, and tea and coffee facilities. the daily maid service was also very efficient. Finally, the free Wi, Fi was great and worked seamlessly.

The hotel lacked certain amenities like a mini, fridge, gym or spa, but it did not bother us as we were exploring the city most of the time. the room, however, was quite small and not ideal for families or light sleepers, as we could hear some noises from the street.
